Every experience leaves behind a tool. That's the belief I keep coming back to — that the things I've done in unrelated corners of my life keep turning out to be the same skill wearing different clothes. My foundation is technical. I studied Computer Science with artificial intelligence, and I build things: AI assistants, automation systems, self-hosted infrastructure that runs without me watching it. The satisfying part isn't the code. It's the moment something I built gets used by someone who doesn't know or care how it works. But I've never worked purely on the engineering side. I've spent as much time on the other end — researching what a product should do, testing whether it's feasible, and making the case to the people who decide. Doing both has made me better at each. I know what a requirement costs to build, because I've had to build one. Outside of that, I draw, I shoot photos, I train, and I play chess. These aren't a separate life running in parallel. Art taught me to notice detail nobody asked me to notice. Sport taught me that consistency beats intensity. Chess taught me to think several moves out with incomplete information, which is most of what product work actually is. I speak six languages. Tamil, English, Malayalam, Hindi, Arabic, German. Less about vocabulary than about being comfortable in rooms where I'm the outsider. I'm drawn to bio-inspired computing — how natural systems adapt, optimise, and survive conditions they weren't designed for. It's the clearest example I know of the thing I find most interesting generally: that good solutions usually already exist somewhere, in a form nobody's thought to borrow yet.
